Our crescent bag is made from dabu printed fabric. It's a fascinating process involving hand printing a mud paste onto fabric with carved wooden blocks before throwing sawdust over the mud and laying it out in the sun to dry. The fabric is then dipped into a deep dye bath and where the mud has been the fabric 'resists' the dye and it remains the original colour of the cloth.
